This digipak has multiple colours and pictures on the design. The band features on the digipak as well as instruments and song titles. The main colour is black and on the digipak which is a negative colour, causing the audience the have an idea that the narrative of the band/album could also be negative. The colour red appears on the digipak also, However this could mean either love or blood/pain. In this case, because of the large amount of black on the digipak, I would believe this would connote blood or despair. The band image on the front of the digipak however, is bright and colourful creating a happy atmosphere when you first look at the digipak. I songs are clearly displayed in a bright colour to attract the eyes of the audience and also there are multiple meanings that could be taken from this digipak from the unconventional mix of light and dark colours. This has helped me understand the key impacts of colouring on digipaks and how they can portray a narrative or in fact make the audience create a narrative before they listen to the song. Therefore I will think to use this when making my own digipak.
