Autophila by the Bluetones - Pitch of music videos.

First time I heard this song, I thought that the person who was singing was describing a car. however, as I listened to it I realised that a woman was almost being described as a car or of car features. this was based on the fast paced high pitch of the music video making me think of the love story behind it. Being shown the real video showed me how music videos are portray the correct narrative behind the song in which the lyrics sometimes hide. This song sounded to me like there is a troubled relationship where a man had fallen in love with a woman in which didn't love him back. Therefore the clear lyrics throughout the song about car parts was my assumption of him describing the woman he loves. Overall I thought that this music video would be a somewhat dream and the man would be describing a woman who walked past or his fantasy relationship with this woman he is describing.

It took me a while to understand or realise what this song was about until I paid close attention to the lyrics as we didn't have to music video to watch. At first I initially thought that it was about a car as the lyrics referred to this. Therefore, within the music video I believed that a car would appear at some point within the music video as it was majorly described throughout the song. I thought the lyrics were represented differently as apposed to how they sounded. Therefore, overall I thought that the song was a description of a woman he loves, but describing her as a car or using car features to describe her.

I have learnt that song lyrics sometimes hide the real narrative behind them and that the music video reveals the true narrative. Therefore I could use this as a technique when coming to make our own music video.
